Rose BAYGEL FOX (nee WEISS) died Aug 2, 1974, in Miami, Florida and was buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery, formerly of 1668 Eddington Rd., Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She was born in 1896 in Riga, Latvia (part of the Russin empire), the daughter of Abraham /Abram Isidor WEISS & Sarah LABGOLD / LEIBGOLD. Rose came to the US about 1903 with her parents and sisters. Rose's brothers, Albert, Benjamin and Louis WEISS immigrated earlier and worked in the steel mills in Cleveland to bring the rest of the family over.

Rose was survived by her 2nd husband, Albert FOX. Rose first married Dec 21, 1919 in Cuyahoga co, OH, Samuel Charles "Sam" BAYGEL. He was born Nov 25, 1892 in Russia, the son of Abraham & Gertie BAYGEL and he died Feb 16, 1959 at home, 1668 Eddington Road, Cleveland Heights, OH at age 68. Sam came to the US at age 17 from the Ukraine, a town called Vorozhilovka.

* Louis Jacob WEISS a shoe dealer, born Jan 19, 1884 in Russia died Jan 7, 1953 in Ohio, age 68. His widow, Rae (nee KAUFMAN), of 3226 Cedarbrook Rd., Cleveland Heights died April 24, 1956 in Ohio. Rae was born in 1889 in Russia, the daughter of Sam KAUFMAN & Rose Tegnus. They married Jan 9, 1910 in Cuyahoga co., OH by Rabbi Margolis.
* Benjamin "Ben" WEISS of 2516 Kenilworth Rd. born May 2, 1887 in Russia, died May 17, 1938 at age 51. He was married by Rabbi N. Eiben, April 17, 1910 in Cuyahoga co, OH, Ida Roginsky. She was born Aug 5, 1890 in Russia, the daughter of Ben ROGINSKY & Bessie Kaperowsky. She died April 14, 1987 in a Beachwood nursing home at age 95.
