Darrick was a murder victim in New Orleans.He was sitting in his car when someone shot him, No one has been arrested in the case.. He enjoyed watching football as well as other sports, shopping, cooking, bowling, partying, spending time with family & friends, watching movies. His parents are Mother - Maxine Briggs, Father - Douglas Durden, step mother - Brenda Durden. He leaves behind 4 siblings Tonya , Del, Frederick and Stanley , his Girlfriend, Deshundra Henderson, one son, Da'z Durden, 3 daughters, Ariana Rainey, Darielle Rainey and Daizhan Rainey. At the time of his death, he was working doing foundation work, prior to that he was an executive with a local record company. He was a graduate of McDonough #35 HIgh School in 1988. Darrick, known to many as "Wood" was the BIGGEST Saints fan in the state of Louisiana and surrounding states. This is what his beloved Sister, Tonya wrote to him after his death. "Do" you were a beautiful rose that's still blooming and though I can't see that bloom, I can still smell the refreshing scent.
