Sharon A. Engstrom of Eugene, died July 15 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Engstrom was born Aug. 6, 1974, in Medford, to Gary and Marie Timothy. She married Chad Engstrom on July 16, 1999, in Springfield. She lived in Medford most of her life until moving to Springfield in 1999. She had attended public schools in Medford and was a student at Lane Community College, where she was taking phlebotomy courses. A homemaker, she enjoyed drawing, tanning, music and shopping.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Alex and Ethan, both of Eugene; her parents, of Medford; a brother, Jeff of Medford; three sisters, Shannon, Sarah and Patty, all of Medford; and three stepsisters, Debbie and Leslie, both of Medford, and Tracy of Las Vegas.
