Francisca M. Talamantez, age 84, entered into rest September 10, 2008, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 16, 1923, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was preceeded in death by her husband Esequiel Talamantez, Sr., parents Teodoro and Estela Moncada, sisters Minerva Ozuna and Berta Metzger.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Esequiel Talamantez, Jr. and wife Rachel, Daughters Rosalinda T. Antu and husband Joe, Beatriz T. Zertuche and husband Oscar, Yolanda T. Gonzalez and husband Antonio, Estela Zaragoza and husband Robert; Brothers Ted Moncada, Jr., Joe Moncada; Sisters Olivia Auces and Alicia Cruz. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Gentlemen with the honor of serving as pallbearers are Joey Antu, Jr., Jesus Gonzalez, Albert Zuniga, Robby Zaragoza, Esequiel Talamantez, III, Joey Antu, III.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:30PM.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 12, 2008, at 3:30 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
