PARMELEE, Paul G.
Paul George Parmelee, 82, of East Hartland, beloved husband for 56 years to Frances M. (Curtis) Parmelee, died Friday, (September 17, 2004) at the Governor's House, Simsbury. Born in West Granby, son of the late Paul Revere Parmelee and Olive (Ransom) Parmelee, he had lived in Granby moving to East Hartland in 1957. Paul served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a Master Sergeant. He retired as a Tool and Die maker at Johnson Gauge Co., Bloomfield. He was a member of the Hartford Gun Club and the First Church in Hartland, Congregational. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Stephen P. Parmelee and David C. Parmelee, both of East Hartland; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and William Zaverton of Southington; and a grandson, Andrew Zaverton of Canton. Private services and burial in East Hartland Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Granby Ambulance Assoc., P.O. Box 617, Granby, CT 06035. Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, Granby, has care of arrangements.
