Pat was a member of the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society, a Co-Chairman of the Depot Committee, the founder of Pat's Antiques, an active member of the MCHS Alumni Association, a member of the Friends of the Chatsworth-Murray County Library, and the former Branch Manager of the Chatsworth-Murray County Library. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Cora Anderson Duncan, a brother Deward Lee Duncan, and a son David Bryan Ausmus.
Survivors include, Husband James Ralph Ausmus; Son & daughter-in-law, Kirk and Sonya Hemphill, Chatsworth; Daughters & son-in-law, Dianne Hemphill Davis and Jerry Davis, Chatsworth & Deborah Ausmus, Chatsworth; Sister & brother-in-law, Marlene Duncan Foster & Troy C. Foster, Cumming, GA; Grandchildren, Tanner Kirk Hemphill & Tucker Kody Hemphill; nieces, nephews & cousins also survive.
