Elfreda Massey 84, of Guy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 7, 2013. She was born in Guy, on Tuesday, June 4, 1929, to the late Lonzo and Hattie Glover Acre.
She was an avid gardener and loved cattle farming. Her greatest passion was taking care of her family and helping others.
Those left to mourn her passing are her two sons, Arthur Massey and wife Stacy of Guy and Lonnie Massey and wife Angela of Conway; six grandchildren, Landon, Tyler, Laithe, Tara, Levi and Lexus Massey; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy. Burial will follow in Copperas Springs Cemetery with Brother Gary Burdin officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the church.
