He was born in New Haven, May 12, 1917, a son of the late Francesco and Ermelinda (Armellino) Giannotti, and had been a Wallingford resident for the past 50 years. He was a World War II Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy, and had been employed as a truck driver, and a member of the Teamsters Local 443.
He is survived by his daugher, Maryann Nesto; his three grandchildren; his brother and his sister-in-law, Robert and Carol Giannotti; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six sisters, Mary Bernardo, Madelyn Kraemer, Rosina Turbert, Julia Furth, Ann Tacinelli, and Susan Giannotti; and his four brothers, Salvatore, George, Frank Jr. and John Giannotti.
