WANDA GROSZEK (nee Polec) died December 15, 2009, at Mount Alverna Village, in Parma, OH at age 89. She was born April 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Adam and Antonia Polec. She married Aug 30, 1940 in Cuyahoga co., OH, Casimer "Casey" GROSZEK. He was born March 4, 1913 in Cleveland and died July 13, 1992 at Cleveland Metro Health Hospital at age 79. They were married for 52 years. His mother's maiden name was Cwynar. Wanda was a resident of Seven Hills for over 50 years where she enjoyed gardening and entertaining family and friends. In the 1950's, Wanda and her sister, Adele owned Wandel's Sweet Shop in Cleveland, OH, famous for their outstanding Easter chocolates. Wanda was also Personnel Manager at the Seven Hills K-Mart for 17 years, loved and affectionately known as "Mrs. G."
