Patricia Morris Wilson, 84, of Ovando, passed away on May 16, 2003, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

She was born at the family ranch in Sunset, Mont., on March 17, 1919, to Ollie and Ben Morris. She went to school in Greenough and Missoula and was a graduate of Kinman Business College in Spokane.

She worked for both the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Army as well as overseeing the Morris Ranch near Ovando.

She was married to "Wag" Dodge and Lawrence O. Wilson, both of whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her mother and father; two brothers, Fred and Ben Morris; and one sister, Nellie Roark.

She is survived by her nephew, Douglas Roark of Missoula, and her nieces, Patsy Morton of Kalispell and Laurice Fritz of Missoula. She is also survived by five grandnieces, Susan Fritz Harlow, Corie Fritz and Peggy Roark Nelsen, all of Missoula, Diane Morton, currently in Europe, and Melissa Morton Engellant of Boise, Idaho; three great-grandnephews; her good friend, Helen Cox of Bellevue, Wash.; and her cousin and good friend, Eloise McNally of Ovando.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Montana Cremation and Memorial Society, 3035 S. Russell St. in Missoula. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, St. Patrick Life Flight or the Blackfoot Church of Potomac.
