Lydia (Dyck) Dyck passed away on Saturday, April 20 at the age of 89 years.

Lydia was born in Alexanderkrone, Russia (Siberia); her family immigrated to Canada in the fall of 1928 and settled on a beet farm in Coaldale.
Baptized in 1940 and married Peter, on her 20th birthday in 1943, following which they moved to Pincher Creek to homestead in 1946.

Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Peter, on December 31, 2010; her parents: Jacob and Elizabeth Dyck, her siblings: Tina Dyck, Marie (Dyck) Klassen, Nickolas Dyck, Jake Dyck, Agnes Dyck, John Dyck, Mary (Kroeker) Klippenstein, Margaret (Kroeker) Lepp, Helen Kroeker, Susan (Dyck) Ens, Cornelius Dyck and Armin Dyck, numerous brothers & sisters-in-law and her son-in-law James Gibbon.

A celebration of Lydia's life was held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Springridge Mennonite Church.

In memory of Lydia and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either: Southern Alberta Bible Camp Box 99 Lomond AB T0L 1G0 or Camp Valaqua Box 339 Water Valley AB T0M 2E0
