ED LION-Auga M. (Winters) Heffner, 80, died Monday, August 11, 2003 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Eugene C. Heffner.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethany United Methodist Cemetery in Felton with her pastor, Rev. Judi A. Dunkelberger Smith officiating. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.

Born October 9, 1922 in York, a daughter of the late Ervin and Bessie (Brown) Winters, she was a member of Bethany U.M. in Felton.

Mrs. Heffner is survived by a son, Richard E. Heffner of Red Lion; a brother, Charles Winters of Bittersville; and three sisters, Esther Bahn, Maye Hannigan, and Thelma Raab, all of Dallastown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Social Services, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., York, PA 17404 or to VNA Hospice Services, 218 E. Market Street, York, PA 17403.
