*Mrs. Fannie Duncanson, one of Monroe's oldest pioneers, died at her home, corner of Eighth and Harrison Streets, at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. The deceased was born in Geneva, New York, on Nov. 27th, 1810, and came to Monroe in 1820. The funeral services were held at the house Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Wheeler officiating. Her mother was Lucy Nickles, born in New York, and her father was John Duncanson born in New York. She had been a resident of Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan for sixty-two years.
