He was born Dec. 18,1909, near Bnzine, the
son of George and Katharina Elizabeth
Albrandt Kuehn.
A longtime resident of Bazine, he graduated
from Bazine High School in 1930 and took a
special teachers' training course at WaKeeney.
He taught for several terms in country schools
in Ness County and was engaged in farming.
He was a member of the Assembly of God
Church, served on the Deacon's Board and was
a Sunday school teacher and Sunday school
superintendent for more than 40 years.
In 1932, ho married Mollie Schneider at
Bazine. She died Jan. 10, 1990.
Survivors include: a son, Seth Kuehn, San
Antonio; a daughter, Wilma Barry, Kansas
City, Mo.; two sisters, Kathryn Ivey and
Marie Biersdorfer, both of Harlingen, Texas;
six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at
Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, with the
Rev. John Johnson presiding. Burial will be
in the Bazine Cemetery. Memorials may be
sent to Ness County Hospital in care of the
funeral home.
