The funeral services for Mary Demske were held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in South Bend, Indiana. Mary was a member of the Women's Apostleship of Prayer at St. Stanislaus and St. Joseph's Society No. 65, Polish Women's Alliance.
Besides all of her six children [re: Jacob's memorial}, her survivors included four brothers: Martin, Frank, Stephen, and Anthony Flowers, all of South Bend; and three sisters: Mrs. Josephine Olawski and Mrs. George Niedbalski, both of South Bend, and Sister M. Jolanta, C.S.C., of St. Mary's Convent, Holy Cross, Indiana. (from her obituary published May 15, 1945 in the South Bend Tribune)
