Paulajean "Paula" Mosher, 82, of Effingham, Illinois passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2013, at Effingham Illinois Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services for Paula will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Effingham, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Chapel, Effingham, Illinois. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School, St. Anthony's Home Health Care or the American Stroke Association. Condolences may be left online at www.hallfuneralchapel.com.
Paula was born July 2, 1930, in Spring Valley, Illinois, the daughter of George and Florence (Conway) Rettig. Paula spent her early years in Peoria. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School, graduating from the Academy of Our Lady in 1948. She worked for St. Francis Hospital and later Great Central Insurance Co. Paula married Charles Mosher on Sept. 1, 1951, at Sacred Heart Church, Peoria, Illinois and they moved to Effingham, Illinois in 1953.
Paula is survived by her three sons, Craig (wife, Debbie) of Effingham, Illinois; Bradley (special friend, Mary Ann Holland) of Lisle, Illinois; and Scott (wife, Kathy) Mosher of Effingham, Illinois; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; and five great-step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; three brothers; and two sisters.
