Bonnie Rogers FormyDuval, age 86 of Nakina, died Wednesday in Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Born in Yucca, AL, she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Sartin Rogers and the wife of the late Victor F. FormyDuval. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mrs. FormyDuval was a piano teacher and was the pianist at Old Dock United Methodist Church for many years and previously at Temple Baptist Church in TN.
She is survived by four step-daughters: Judy Carroll and Heidi Duncan, both of Whiteville, NC, Jennifer Huggins of Chadbourn, NC and Loretta Clyburn of Durham, NC; two step-sons: Eddie FormyDuval and Willie FormyDuval, both of Old Dock, NC; a sister Mable Rogers Hollingsworth of Chattanooga, TN; a brother Larry Rogers of TN; four grandchildren; one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in Old Dock United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the FormyDuval Family Cemetery.
