Syd was my beloved tri colored Sheltie. He was two years old when I first got him and was diagnosed with heartworms, fleas, ear mites, etc.. Our vet got him through all of his problems, and he lived a healthy and happy life until he developed arthritis which became so severe he could barely get up. He also went deaf and had other old age problems such as teeth and gum infections. It was so hard for me to let go, but he is with God in Heaven and no longer suffering. Syd was a real gentleman and a close friend. I loved him so much, and look forward to him greeting me in Heaven.
