At an early age, she emigrated with her family to the United States, settling in the Gardner area.
She married George R. Herrick on July 24, 1949, at the Mazon Methodist Church in Mazon.
Mrs. Herrick was employed as a bookkeeper with several establishments in the area.
Survivors include three daughters, Jean Browne, Los Angeles, Calif.; Joan (Wes) Poling, Buffalo, Texas and Deborah Osborn, Mazon; one son, Craig (Sherry) Herrick of Morris; 10 grandchildren, Lisa and Patrick Browne, Kimberly (Eddie) Thompson, Kirstein (Joe) Speed, David (Janet) Laird, Jr., Carey Herrick, Jill (Troy) Gass, Deidre (Chad) Sandeno, Tricia Osborn and Jenna Osborn; seven great-grandchildren, Ayden Browne, Erin Thompson, Emma Thompson, Christian Speed, Jacob Esposito, Hunter Espositor and Ella Sandeno; two sisters, Katherine (Manuel) Rodriquez, Verona and June (Rick) Sterling of Verona; and several nieces and nephews.
