Her father was Andrew Miller 1738-1817 and her mother was Magdalena Seiberling. Her husband Samuel S. Kistler was the youngest son of Samuel J. Kistler and Maria Elizabeth Ladich, and the most prolific. Their's was the largest branch of the Kistler family.

She married Samuel on August 12, 1806.

Their children were: Lydia, Daniel, Catherine (Katie) Ebert, Jacob, Elizabeth, Samuel, Magdalena, John S., Maria, Wilhelm, Stephen and David.

1860 U. S. Census son David age 32 was still living at home.
