Alida (Alice) was born in Willeskop, Netherlands on Sunday, October 31, 1880 the first daughter of Antonie Kemp (Father) and Johanna Emaus (Mother). She had two younger sisters Antonia and Maria.
The family immigrated to the USA in 1889.

About 1901 Alice married Sam Schultetus who was six foot tall and had blue eyes. And in 1910 they were living in north Lake County Indiana where Sam was making a living as a farmer. Living with them are their children Alida (8), Swaantje (5), Marie (3), and Richard (1).
Lake County records indicate she had a female stillborn on Oct 18, 1912.

Lake County Health Office records show Nick Schultetus was born in Saxony on February 2, 1914 and died on February 8th. And Alice died four days later on February 12th.

Willeskop is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is located in the municipality of Montfoort.

Saxony: In 1895, this was the site of a town called Calumet. It was later renamed Saxony around 1905 before it was incorporated into Hammond.
