Paul was born March 13, 1926, in Rutland, Vt., on the family dairy farm on Creek Road where he grew up with his six brothers and three sisters.
He joined the military in 1945 following most of his brothers in military service. He had a long career in the military, including service in Hawaii and Korea.
He retired to Federal Way in Washington state, enjoying the area, including hiking along wooded trails in the nearby mountains.
He leaves behind his wife, Chong-Ae Belock of Federal Way, Wash.; his brother, Andy Belock of Rutland, Vt.; and brother George Belock of Hampton, Wash.
Visitation hours are Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 3 to 5 p.m. and funeral services are Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 12 p.m. at Yahn & Son Funeral Home, Auburn, Wash.
He will be interred following the funeral in the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash.
