Sanford Stoddard Bath Sanford Stoddard, age 54, passed away on February 15, 2013. Sanford was born in Lansing on May 19, 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Norma (Suggate) Stoddard. Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Stoddard (Jay Bachelor), Rebecca Stoddard (Eric Dugan), and Samantha Stoddard (Michal Slocum); one grandson, Weston Dugan; one brother, Ronald Stoddard; and two sisters, Judith (Harry) Hurst and Barbara Noonan. Sanford retired from MESSA after more than 30 years of service. He loved his motorcycles, traveling, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Sanford "Sandman" will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Cemetery, Bath Twp., MI. Visitation will be held Thursday from noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing, Michigan.
