Mrs. Sue Bowden Medley passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at her home. She was 53.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, February 18, 2013 at New Home Baptist Church with Reverend Cliff Quincy officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February, 17, 2013 from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before service time.
Sue was born on June 27, 1959 in Elba, Alabama. She was preceeded in death by her father, Marvin Morris Bowden as well as one sister, Karen Keel.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky D. Medley of Enterprise; children: Cevin Medley (Bobbilynn), Valdosta, GA, Traci Floyd, Prattville, AL, Staci Anne Turner (Jim), Ozark, AL, Casi J. Bohart (Robert), Autaugaville, AL, Meagan Medley, Enterprise, AL; mother: Margie Bowden, Goodman, AL; one brother: Mark Bowden (Regena), Enterprise, AL; three sisters: Carol Alameda (Skip), Janet Barefoot, Lynn Kelsoe (John), all of Goodman, AL; 12 grandchildren, a special friend Liz Paravicini, and a special sister Jane Elmore.
