Thaddeus was born Thaddeus Swanegan Jr. on November 16, 1942 in Dalton, Missouri to Dorothy and Thaddeus Swanegan, Sr.
Thaddeus attended Keytesville school, graduating from Keytesville High School in 1961. School activities included: Freshman year; Track. Sophomore year; Track and Baseball. Junior year; Track, Baseball, Student Council, and Basketball. Senior year; Track, Baseball, Student council, Boys' Glee Club, Music Contest, Basketball, and Class Officer.

After serving in the Navy he worked as an EMT in the Emergency Room of California Pacific Medical Center (formerly Presbyterian Hospital) in San Francisco, Ca for over 25 years.

Tad was an avid bird watcher, loved dogs, enjoyed being outside and was a very good handyman. He also loved running, and playing basketball.

Tad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 1999 and died on June 2, 1999 at his home in Berkeley, CA. He had requested that he be cremated and that his ashes be scattered in Tilden Park, a park he went to almost daily with his dog Lola, a fox terrier, in the hills of Berkeley, CA.

He is survived by his Mother, his sisters Bonnie Sue and Sandy as well as his two daughters, Shelly and Suzanne, and 6 grandchildren as well as many other cousins and extended family still residing in Missouri.

We all agree that he was taken from us much too early and miss his bright smile and inquisitive mind.

Tad's frequently heard quote: "That's the booger with the sugar!"
