Littlejohn Gann was born on February 18th, 1947 in Stilwell, OK, the son of Looney and Daisy (Killer) Gann. He attended school at Greasy. He met and fell in love with Clara Mae Gourd, they were wed in Miami, OK in 1966. This union was blessed with 46 years of companionship and three children, Charles, Carole, and Rodney. Littlejohn worked as a machinist for 29 years at Tulsa Screw Products. He was further employed at Cobbs in Teresita for a number of years. He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful provider. When his work day was through, Littlejohn didn't come home and sit down. Far from that, he could be found doing some hunting or fishing. There was always a softball game to watch, and if his grandchildren were playing, it was all the better for Littlejohn. He raised hound dogs and liked to keep up with fellow enthusiasts. Littlejohn possessed a green thumb and raised beautiful tomatoes. It was all about his family. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly and relished every moment they had the chance to spend time together. He loved to play with his grandchildren. Littlejohn was equally pleasant around his friends and people he met. He had no problem walking up to a stranger and engaging him in conversation. He was a people person, plain and simple. Littlejohn was a Christian by faith, and a member of Johnson Prairie Baptist Church, where he served as Assistant Sunday School Director and served on the food committee. The Lord called his good and faithful servant home on January 13th, 2013 in Tulsa, OK with his loved ones gathered by his side. He was 65 years old. He leaves a legacy of unselfish living for his grandchildren to pattern themselves after, and he will be missed for all the love he gave each and every one of his family and friends. Littlejohn is preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his brothers George and Frank Gann.
