She retired from Bradner Village Nursing Home where she worked as a QMA and currently worked as a sales associate at Rose's Department Store. She attended Hillside Wesleyan Church. Debra enjoyed crafting and bead work, shopping and photography. She loved life and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her father, Earl Babb, Marion, IN; sisters, Kay (Gerald) Fisher, Gas City, IN, Nancy Russell, Marion, IN; brother, Michael (Kathy) Babb, Gas City, IN; 6 nephews, 2 great nephews, 2 great nieces; her cats, Simba and Fritz.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harry Peterson, Jr.; mother, Barbara J. Babb.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2013 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, Indiana with Pastor Gary Bingham officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweetser.
Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. -12 Noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
