Gordon D. Payne, 67, of Miami departed this life Nov. 23, 2005, at home after a long illness.

He was the son of the late George and Minnie Payne Sr.

He was retired from Turnpike Ford as a security guard.

He is survived by sisters, Mary Schmidt of Miami and Ella Louise DeBoard of Goshen, Ind.; and a brother, Howard Payne of Belle.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Pryor Funeral Home with the Rev. Beatrice Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pryor Funeral Home.Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, is in charge of arrangements
