Ann is the daughter of Adam Karash & Theodora Novak.

Ann married John S Malinczak on Sept 14, 1946. Together they had one child; Theodora (Teddy).

ANN B. MALINCZAK
Ann B. Malinczak, 88 , of Maple City and Clinton Township, died Monday, March 11 2002. at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City. She was born Nov 26, 1913, in Scranton, Penn.
Mrs.Malinczak worked as a nanny as a teen-ager and later worked in retail in New York and as a cocktail waitress i Florida before World War 2. During the war , she helped the national effort as a riveter on aircraft production lines. She retired in 1977 after more than 25 years with Park-Davis Pharmaceutical Co, as a lab technician at Detroit and Parkdale, Rochester Michigan facilities.
She enjoyed being with family and friends and traveling. She cruised extensively , traveled to Europe and destinations across the country. She was a member of St.Gertrude's Seniors and St. Clair Shores Cruisers.She was a founding member of St.Isaac Jogues Church, St.Clair Shores and more recently at San Francesco Church, Clinton Township. She was also an active member and patient advocate on the family council of Father Murray's Nursing Home, Warren.
Relatives said she was well known for her quick smile, love of adventure, terrific sense of humor and unbounded generosity and will be remembered as a loving and caring mother grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter Theodora(Robert) House of Maple City; sister Sophia Abratowski of Washington Township;nieces, Greta Craner of Washington Township, Andrea(David) Dilision of Rochester Hills; and many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Theodora(Novak) Karash;brothers, Henry, Micheal, Leo, Frank and Alex; sister Mary Mathews; and grandson, David House
A funeral service will be held at 11 am. Thursday at St.Philip Neri Catholic Church, Empire, with the Rev.Chad Zielinski officiating. A memorial service in the Detroit area for family and friends will be held at a later date in spring. Burial will be in St.Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery.
Visitations is 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Wednesday with a 7:30 pm.Scripture service at Reynolds-Jonkhoff funeral Home, 306 6th St.Traverse City.
Memorial contributions may be mad to 4-H of Leelanau County in memory of her grandson.
