Louis Huff, 95, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his home.
Louis was born on November 16, 1917 to Earl and Hazel (Schlosser.) Huff in Bremen. He married Irene L. Moore on November 21, 1940; she preceded him in death on February 20, 2006.


Louis graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1935 and went on to graduate from Purdue Short Course. Until 1966 he worked as a dairy farmer, and then he bought the Ford tractor dealership in Bremen. Later he sold pole barns for Wicks out of Argos and Pacemaker in North Webster. Louis was a former member of the Grace United Methodist Church; later, a member of the Bremen United Methodist Church.


Louis is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Suzanne) Huff of Southbury, CT and Donald (Jane) Huff of Bremen; two daughters, Betty (Richard) Carr of Bremen and Barbara (John) Chaille of Yorktown, IN; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Yeager; and one sister-in-law, Loretta Huff.


Louis was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Irene; two brothers, Fred Huff and James Huff; and four sisters, Alice Ellis, Alberta Langfeldt, Jeanette Basset, and Margaret Moretto.


A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Bremen United Methodist Church. Pastor Jeff Smith will officiate.

Burial following at the Bremen Cemetery.
