Mr.Raymond Lefever, age 87 of New Baltimore, passed away
Saturday in the Vencor Hospital, Lincoln Park.
He was born November 10, 1913 to Fidel and Germains (Callone)
Lefever in Carona,Kansas.On July 31,1937, Raymond was united
in Marriage with the former Hilda Masch in Detroit, Michigan.
The couple settled in Warren and have been residing in their
present home since 1964.
Mr.Lefever was a twenty seven year employee of the Ford
Motor Company as an automatic machine operator, retiring in
1976, was a member of the Christ the King Luthern Church, New
Baltimore and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gard-
ening and riding his lawn mower.
Surviving is his wife, Hilda; two daughter, Joanne(Gregory)
Hebel of Clinton Township and Nancy Lefever of New Baltimore;
two grandchildren, Cheryl(Mike) Ratusznik and Brian(Gale)
Hebel;two great Grandchildren, Nathan Hebel and Erin Hebel;
one sister, Helen Karash of Harrison Township, and his cat,
Chessie. Mr.Lefever was predeceased by a brother, Lee
Lefever.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.Thursday,February
15,2001 in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233
Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens with the Reverand Melvin
Hiler officating.Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery,
Detroit.
Visitation in the Funeral home will be from 4-9 p.m.,
Tuesday and 12-9 p.m., Wednesday.
