Mrs. Anna *Amy* Maugans, 87,
widow of John Maugans, died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning at her home in Wolfsville, aged 87 years, of old age.

She is survived by the following children; John and Jacob Maugans at home; Mrs William Wolf, Mrs. John Smith, Wolfsville; Martin Maugans, Waynesboro, Pa. Funeral Tuesday at 11 o'clock.

Mrs. Amy Maugans, 87,
died at her residence, near Middletown, on Sunday morning, June 18, 1899, age 87 years, 2 months and 23 days.

She is survived by five children; John H., Jacob and Martin Maugans, Mrs. William Wolf and Mrs. John T. Smith.

Deceased was highly respected by all who knew her. The funeral took place on Monday. Elder John M. Bussard officiated, assisted by Elder Charles Ausherman and Rev's. W. L. Remsburg and J. G. Roudabush. Interment was made at the Lutheran cemetery, near Middletown.
