Christian married Katherina WILL in 1880 in Neudorf, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia. The couple were blessed with no less than 10 children; Karoline, Johann, Katharina, Jacob, Ludwig, Philipp, Frederick, Christian, Andreas and Magdalena.
Christian LIPPERT at the age of 44 with his children; Johann, Jacob and Katharina, immigrated to America via the Port of Antwerp, Belgium on the 1st of November 1902 aboard the SS "Friesland" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 11th of November 1902.
Their final destination recorded as Hillsview, McPherson County, South Dakota to join Christian's brother-in-law Johann WILL.
In 1910 the majority, if not all of the LIPPERT family migrated north and settled in the vacinity of Hilda, Alberta, Canada.
