Maudline Sadberry was born on February 21, 1927 to Clinton and Chaney Walton in Bryan, Texas. She graduated from Kemp High School in 1944 and married her high school sweetheart, Hoza Sadberry of Benchley, Texas in 1946. She adored her husband, who retired from the United States Air Force after 28 years of service to our nation in 1973. She found great joy spending time at the Sadberry Ranch in Benchley, Texas. Also served as a deaconess of the Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Texas for almost 40 years until her passing. Maudline was an amazing mother and grandmother. On Saturday, November 10, 2012, Maudline graduated to her heavenly home and is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Hoza Sadberry, Sr., and three sons, Kenneth Sadberry, Hoza Sadberry, Jr., and Gregory Sadberry. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons: Rick Sadberry, Reginald Sadberry, and Steven Sadberry, 5 grandchildren: Rick Sadberry, Jr., (Korry), Stephanie Carter (Bryan), Jeanne Brooks (Larry), John Sadberry and Jacqueline Sadberry including 6 great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Carson, Kennedy, Sydney, Naej, and Josiah; nieces, nephews, and family friends. The family will receive guests at a visitation to be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35 in Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Services to honor Maudline's life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Greater Union Baptist Church, located at 2939 Pecan Springs Road in Austin, Texas 78723 at 11:00am with the Reverend Ricky Williams officiating and Rev. Bryan Carter (of Concord Baptist Church-Dallas, TX) as the eulogist. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
