The original burial ground for the Convent of the Society of the Holy Child of Jesus was located on the west side of Calcon Hook Road, North of Woodland Avenue, in Sharon Hill. The Convent, known as Sharon, was founded in 1864 by the sisters of Society of the Holy Child Jesus in what today is the town of Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, in the former Jackson Female Academy building. The former girls' school was reestablished as the Holy Child Academy and flourished for many years.

The school closed in 1973, and in 1974 the burials in the convent's burial ground were removed to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
