Add PhotosThere are several graves here but only 1 is marked with a legible marker. The rest are just depressions in the ground and/or rocks and stones.
There appear to be about 6-8 graves.
Lacking any other information, I am calling this the Mary Ann Mitchell Cemetery due to not having any further information on the others buried here . I found this on 1/30/2020 with the help of the current landowner while I was searching for the grave of Prosser Horton who owned much of this land in the early 1800s and who is claimed by the DAR to be buried near O'Shields Bridge - This bridge is the Highway 11 bridge that crosses the Mulberry . The bridge was originally located close to where the new bridge is today. The O'Shields family owned most of the land south of the Mulberry and the O'Shields cemetery is located on Highway 11 just to the south of the Mulberry (SE side of the highway). The O'Shields cemetery is marked and maintained and can be found on Find A Grave.
