Surveyed 11/21/1998 GPS Location N33 d 23.9332 W083 d.56.413 This cemetery is in the northern part of the county in dense woods. There may be twenty or more unmarked graves.This area is thought to be the first site of Sardis Baptist Church.From Jackson, follow Hwy 36 east 7.4 miles to Winding way on the left,go 1.3 miles to Keys Ferry Rd. And turn left.Go 1.6 miles to a dirt road on the left, Ferry Rd.turn left and go .2 miles to an old house,turn right down an overgrown road , which may have been the old Keys Ferry Rd.Go .1 miles to the top of a fise.Cemetery is due north,approximately 150 yards in the woods.
