Burial was at Buena Vista Memorial Park, Storm Lake, with Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, in charge of arrangements.
Loraine Marjorie Raveling, the daughter of William and Annie Hanson Espe, was born May 31, 1922, in Alta. Her childhood years were spent in Buena Vista County were she received her education. She married Fred Grey in Storm Lake in March 1944. Following his death during World War II, she married Roy Raveling in December 1947 in Minnesota. After their marriage, they lived on a farm in the Linn Grove area. She moved to Spencer 25 years ago and has since made this her home. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church and a volunteer for the Senior Center in Spencer.
Mrs. Raveling was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and a brother in infancy.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Lukensmeyer and her husband, Bill, of Los Altos Halls, Calif.; and Melanie Belden and her husband, Craig, of West Des Moines; one son, Bill Raveling and his wife, Kris, of Sutherland; one step-daughter, Jerri Fournier of Mason City; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
