Anderson - Geraldine W. White, 77, Anderson, passed away Friday morning, February 10, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.She was born December 21, 1939, in Frankfort, Kentucky, the daughter of Harrison and Fronia (Carroll) Young. Geraldine was loving, generous and had a big heart. She enjoyed helping people by working several years at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. She was very involved in family's lives, especially her grandchildren's. Geraldine was an avid reader, she loved novels, crossword, and word search puzzles. She loved to travel, especially the south-eastern part of the U S where she would often go to the beach.Survivors include her son, Bill (wife Kim) West; one brother, Lester Young; two sisters, Lola Whitehead and Helen Madaris; eight grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Jessica West, Josh West, David West, Karisa Whitton, Jason West, Danielle West and Lori Robertson; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill White, who passed away in 1997; two sons, Dan West and Steve West; and three brothers, Chester Young, Bruce Young and Phillip Young.Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday
