McPherson cemetery

Horatio Charles James Bird and his wife, Elizabeth Wooly Bird, came to the U.S in 1894 from Nottingham, England, where Horatio was a lace-maker. Their daughter, Ann Elizabeth Bird, married Mmannon McPherson. Mannon came from a line of McPhersons that goes back to New Jersey in the late 1600s, but whose immigrant has not, by 2015, been discovered.
