Lorraine M. Miller, 88, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, New York.Lorraine is survived by her daughters: Diane L. Smith, Gail (Mike) Tessier, and predeceased by her precious son, William C Miller.She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Allison (Patrick) Kelleher, Frank (Samantha) Smith, and by her great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Emily and Ahslyn Kelleher, whom she treasured greatly; as well as many nieces and nephews.Over the years, Lorraine worked at New York Telephone, the Colonie Police Department, and retired after 20+ years with Combined Life Insurance Company.Lorraine loved her family, music and dancing and enjoyed many years with her friends at the Colonie Senior Center on Thunder Road. She loved to travel with her friends, but mainly enjoyed most of her time with her family. She was a devoted mom and grandmother and will be truly missed by her children.The services will be held privately by the family.
