A Virtual Cemetery created by Vonnie L Cantrell

The Battle of Cowpens

There were approximately 2,400 Patriots who fought in the Battle of Cowpens. Many of the Patriots who fought at Cowpens also fought in other battles of the Southern Campaign. The memorials included in this Virtual Cemetery are those of the soldiers found when researching the participants of the Battle of King's Mountain, the Battle of Ramsour's Mill, or the Battle of Musgrove Mill. Please send me the names of your ancestors documented to have fought in any of these battles PLUS the documentation of the Patriot's participation. Documentation accepted:1.) State Archive Records2.) Application for Revolutionary War Pension: reference revwarapps.orgNote: SAR / DAR submissions do not serve as documentation unless accompanied by the original source of documentation. Due to the number of errors found in their works, Katherine Keogh White and Lewis Preston Summers will not suffice as documentation unless accompanied by another documentable source.
