I have done extensive research into finding the grave of Daniel St. Thomas of Jenifer. The only known reference is a small family cemetery on the Ellerslie Estate in Port Tobacco.To find the Ellerslie Estate, take Route 6 west of Port Tobacco. Turn left on Howard Road. Follow Howard until it dead ends into Ann Arbor Lane. Make a right and follow it around the bend to the left. The Estate begins on the right. You will see Ellerslie about 250 yards back from 7730 Ann Arbor.I visited the Estate in July. The house has been bought by a new owner, and the painters were there. They were very kind to let me in and I took a lot of pics of Daniel and many documents and letters he wrote. I walked around the Estate and did not find any remnants of a cemetery. Some things are just lost in time. I hope the new family will open the hearth room to see the pics and documents to historians.
