while looking for a small cemetery south of san antonio tx, i came across another cemetery that is listed on most cemetery sites with a question mark; i am only guessing, that this may mean that no one knows where this cemetery is located. this is a small cemetery called APPLEWHITE PRIVATE CEMETERY. it is so overgrown with weeds, brush, cactus, and small trees, that i could only snap a few photos of the huge standing headstones from the cemetery i was standing in[called Woodland}. there is no number or name on the sign to call. the chain and lock on the gate have been rusted for quite some time. if there is a member of the applewhite family that may want the small cemetery 'cleaned up', please let me know.UPDATE: today, on 6-28-2014, i cut a lot of brush and weeds in order to take some great photos. i was told by neighbors that it had been abandoned for quite some time.
