Zilliah Allie Treadwell Strong had lived in Texas City, Galveston, Texas, USA since 1906, She was a charter memeber of the Study Club, Civic Club and Garden Club. She also was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service (WSCS), the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the Federation of Women's Clubs, The Old Acquaintance Club and the First Methodist Church. She had been a Sunday School teacher and public school teacher.
