A Virtual Cemetery created by Greg Campbell

WW-II ASTP

Army Specialized Training Program (ASTP) included approximately 238 soldier students, including my dad, David B. Campbell. They arrived from Camp Roberts CA around 6 Dec 1943 and began accelerated college training courses. My dad was studying Electrical Engineering when the program was dramatically cut back and most of the men were returned to their units. My dad (and others) apparently went back to the 11th Armored Infantry Division in Patton's 3rd Army. This virtual cemetery is for any ASTP member anywhere, but especially for those of the ASTU Unit 3966 at the College of Puget Sound (once CPS.edu) now the University of Puget Sound (UPS.edu or simply www.PugetSound.edu).http://www.pugetsound.edu/files/pages/arches/arches_summer_2012/files/assets/seo/page55.html
