I found my maternal grandparents' memorials on Findagrave and was impressed that volunteers would post these photos. As a retiree, I decided to volunteer and took my first 30 or so photos on 9/5/23. On 9/6/23, at age 66, my DNA results came back from Ancestry.com and I discovered who my Bio-father was. It turns out he had managed 3 cemeteries for 26 years as a volunteer and had documented thousands of graves in Maryland as his lifelong passion. That gave me goosebumps. Sadly, I missed meeting him by 4 months.
