On a mission to discover my roots. I am from South Louisiana. The older I get the more I am interested in my heritage. My grandfather was interested in Geneaology "before it was cool". Next to my desk is his handwritten and carbon-copy paper binder of notes of the Guilbeaux and Arnaud clan and settlement.

I also have been very interested in discovering my father's ancestors, I would like to know how much of me is actual French Acadian. I long to research how their lives were, where they worship, etc.
