Bio

I've had over 200 negatives from the 1920's for several decades—purchased for $1 at a garage sale in Monroe, WI. Many are from the same locations: a farm that appears to be on the edge of town; buildings along a railroad track; many of the same people (from grand parents to babies). The only clues I have are the William & Henrietta grave stone and a car ferry bearing the name 'Leola May'. Judging from the railroad track photos and comparing plat maps and a 1939 aerial photo, I'm inclined to believe these may be in and around Winslow, IL. The biography I have on William Emrich and plat maps with the Emrich name provide evidence to this theory.
