Bio

When I was 10 my 5th grade teacher gave us a blank 4-generation pedigree and an assignment - go interview your parents and grandparents and bring this back filled out. After that I was hooked and I've been doing genealogical research now for 47 years. I was digging through courthouse basements and tracking through forgotten cemeteries before the interwebs existed (and before I had a drivers license). It's an obsession! And I have many others to thank for helping me along the way, including my cousins Cyndi and Betty June Tatlock, and my aunt Jantha.

I don't get out to cemeteries much any more so I focus on linking memorials to their families and adding obituaries to memorials instead of headstone photos. I think families should be together on F.A.G. if possible. And know if you get a suggestion from me it has been meticulously researched first.

I only manage a few memorials that are close family or important people to me, but if I happen to have an unrelated person in my list I'm happy to transfer to a family member.

Ancestral lines: Dobson, Boling, Crippen, Tabor, Arthur, Shutters, Wright, Ledbetter, McNabb, Ross, Barriger/Barringer/Bargo, Zurbrugg, Rogers, and more.
